Golden Royal Boutique Hotel & Spa

Months later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Golden Royal Boutique Hotel & Spa. It was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food to fairly enough facilities, not to mention the stunning rooms. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like it’s your special day and their top notch team helps ensure that everything runs smoothly. We hosted our ceremony at their Tuscan garden, then the reception was at their Winter garden. Guests were in awe of the place (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather) and how every detail was perfectly executed. We recommend the Golden Royal Boutique Hotel & Spa and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It's definitely well-worth the investment for a beautiful, love-filled weekend at Košice.

Nice hotel, a bit outdated and in need of an update. Some of the rooms have windows facing a really noisy street with a lot of traffic even at night. Might have been a four star at some point but that must have been quite a few years ago. My shower didn't have a shower head holder which made showering a bit uncomfortable.

There are no elevators in this hotel. Rooms are next to the road and extremely noisy. It gave me a headache in the morning with the number of cars starting to pass by from 5 am onwards. I was also shocked to learn that they don’t have iron box or stands in the rooms or hotel at all! They asked me to pay for getting an ironing service for a charge. This was surprising to me. It was super dark and scary as the staff took me to the room when I checked in. Not really worth the $130 I was charged for this stay.
