Golden Sun

Golden Sun Hotel is a great place to stay right in the heart of Glyfada. The swimming pool is outstanding – clean and well-maintained – and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is generous, with plenty of variety and regularly replenished. The staff are incredibly friendly, speak excellent English, and are always happy to provide helpful recommendations for local beaches, restaurants, and more. The location is perfect – just a short walk to Glyfada’s many shops and restaurants, and only a quick taxi ride to nearby beaches. The room decor is a little dated, but honestly, it didn’t detract from the experience at all. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return.

Rooms need a renovation, AC very loud, furniture very outdated. Clean though. Alexandra and Petros gave us amazing customer service, they were great. Location is good, lobby is nice and newly renovated.

I stayed here for work for more than a week and was recommended by a high-rated hotel where my boss was staying. I find it odd that this is a 4-star hotel when it actually feels like a 2-star. Note that I've worked for at least 3 5-star resorts in Asia. While I appreciate the staff here, I would never stay here again. Pros: Friendly staff, good internet, provided a fan per my request Cons: Outdated room, elevators are very slow, was very warm in the room and they turn their AC on starting mid-May, food was the same every day, you can hear noises from other rooms and traffic outside The worst part of it was hearing the other guests in the room beside mine. I can clearly hear them from the bathroom, even as their toilet flushes. I literally heard a couple having sex at 2:00 AM, woke up from it, and cannot sleep until they were done. It was horrible. I did inform the staff about it the next day.
