Golden Tulip Downtown Abu Dhabi

Its a very nice hotel. Have been there twice already. The swimming pool is great. Kids had so much fun. Mr. Khalid in the gym and pool area is very kind man. He has very good customer service skills. Highly recommended.

Big surplus of this Hotel are the employees. From welcoming us in the middle of the night, surperb breakfast service and housekeeping to friendly lifeguard. Everyone is helpful, smiling and makes everyone feeling at home. The hotel itself needs a little makeover, some new paint and new/cleaned carpet would be advisable - otherwise it's centrally located and within easy reach of sights.

I booked this hotel because they have a pool but it was always closed and I didn't swim or sunbathe my whole vacation, the rooms in the hotel don't match the photos, they are dirty and have a lot of stains, when I checked in I had to wait 40 minutes to be registered because they couldn't find my reservation that I made on the website. The room also smelled strongly of cigarettes. If you are going to Abu Dhabi, I highly recommend choosing another hotel.
