The Golden Tulip Essential is located on the corner where MI road meets the Jalupura main road in the heart of the Jaipur city. This makes it a convenient refuge for the tourists who wish to explore the old city in a leisurely pace. The tourist attractions like Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Central Park and Albert Hall Museum are all within a radius of 3 km. The iconic Rajmandir Cinema is at walking distance. The bustling bazars of Chandpole, Bapu Bazar, Johri Bazar, Badi Chaupad etc. are in the vicinity. It also makes sense for the business travellers because it is located in the commercial hub. It is a modern hotel but with traditional warm Rajasthani hospitality, making it perfect for business travelers, families, and leisurely tourists. Since the hotel is in a busy business district, the hotel itself is very compact and there is hardly any open space around it. Guests who like to take a morning walk will have to do it on not so clean streets. The hotel building is impressive and the entrance to the building is from Jalupura main road. Free onsite valet parking is available. The hotel is wheelchair accessible. The reception and the lobby areas are quite small. The check-in is usually fairly quick and hassle free. I travelled with my family with an elderly member. So we were allotted the room no. 307 on higher floor. The luggage was brought quickly to our room. 307 is a mini or junior suite with a living room and master bedroom. The living room has a sofa set, a work area, a flat TV, central airconditioning, tea & coffee maker, snacks and a well stocked mini fridge . A small guest toilet with a WC and wash basin is also attached with this room. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a flat-screen TV and bedside tables. It has an attached bathroom with running hot & cold water, branded toiletries and hair dryer. There's a small ante-room with wardrobe, digital safe, a full length mirror and luggage rack. The suite has modern furniture & furnishings with contrasting colours & tones and has appropriate lighting which gives a feeling of coziness and elegance. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a gym and several banquet or conference halls. The hotel premises, rooms, furnitures, linens and towels are quite clean. The brightest point of the stay was the excellent service by the staff. Be it front desk staff, bell boy, restaurant or housekeeping staff, everyone was courteous, helpful, responsive and prompt to fulfill our requests. The hotel's inhouse restaurant serves complimentary buffett breakfast with live kitchen, lunch and dinner. Dinner is served in both formats: buffett as well as a la carte. The buffet spread is sufficient but nothing extraordinary. However the food tastes flavourful and quality & quantity are satisfying. There are some things that are not that great like the views from the rooms are not that pleasent. While checking in, we had to ask for welcome drink. Though we paid for an extra cot, the hotel expressed its inability for the same but provided one extra matress in lieu of cot. It will be very convenient if some tissues and hand towels are provided in the guest toilet. Last but not the least, the light control system is high tech and is impressive but senior citizens find it difficult to operate. So, there should be some written instructions about it. Overall, a recommended hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Wonderful stay, we stayed here for 2 nights and everything was perfect. room service is excellent ....loved the food and drinks... And all the hotel staff was very polite and cooperative. Specially thanks to Mr. RAHUL KUMAR , Mr. RAGHUVEER and Head chef Mr. BHUWAN SINGH for their truly world class service. Kudos to them. Best hotel for stay with family. Thanks for the great experience. Will definitely recommend who want to have value for money stay.
The hotel room was nice and the food was good. However, they overcharged us massively for a taxi ride. We had a price fixed and at the end, we had to pay A LOT for toll fees that we did not know about. Really unprofessional and disappointing...
