Golden Tulip La Baule Hôtel & Résidence

Lovely hotel. Comfy bed. Decent size room. Wonderful bathroom and shower. Driving distance to town or walking distance if you're feeling adventurous. Nice covered outdoor pool. Would recommend getting drinks in town. Lots of free parking.

Good staff at the hotel, nice kind people and always smiling. The rooms were clean and large (although the mattresses were not very comfy - with wires). Breakfast was a bit disappointing, there were not many options. Room service food was ok, not too much taste on the supreme chicken. The lunch was bad.

A few minutes earlier, some guys were still able to place an order before us. We wanted to quickly order something at the bar, which is officially open until 10:00 PM. There were two staff members behind the bar, yet they refused to help us. They said they were already closed, even though there were still five minutes left. This comes across as lazy and unfriendly to customers. If you close at 10:00 PM, you should offer service until that time. It's a shame that hospitality clearly isn't a priority here.
