Golden Tulip Mastbosch Hotel Breda

Fantastically located hotel. Old and venerable building at the edge of the forest right on the outskirts of the city. Practical bicycles available for easy transport to and from the city. Nice restaurant and outdoor areas with beautiful landscaping. Enormously large rooms. We were upgraded to a better room without asking, with a fantastic view of the garden and a fun sauna in the bathroom. Have visited the hotel many times before and will do so again.

We had 2 rooms ,deducted from the 5 stars as the single was the size of a cupboard,the double lovely however the spa bath did not work. Otherwise it is situated next to a wood and a lovely place to walk or cycle. Didn't go into the centre of Breda but within 10 mins walk is a lovely little town square with a few shops, cafes ,a poke bar, ice cream shop,and bars all serving what looked to be great food and all with a lovely atmosphere and loads of inside or outside seating. It is worth noting when you arrive there is a free car park opposite in the woods which is easy to miss otherwise you might be concerned with the very limited parking outside the hotel itself.
