Golden Tulip Washington Opera

I stayed a week at the hotel and found it excellent for the price. Cozy, clean, great service and personnel. The only drawback was the street in front had construction going on. But nothing is perfect and that didn’t deter us from enjoying the atmosphere.

We had a very nice experience. The rooms were very pretty and so parisian! The staff was very kind and helpful, and the location it’s super convenient as it’s 3 minutes from Louvre and fiveish from the opera. Overall a very nice experience :)

We came to this hotel with really high expectations considering the location and the 4-Star rating but oh how disappointing this hotel really was. It wasn’t all bad they did provide daily water bottles and replaced the towels each day. Another plus was that the rooms were air-conditioned and they got our rooms beside each other. However the rooms themselves were very out dated and falling into disrepair. The TVs were extremely old to the point where in both rooms had them unplugged. The beds were extremely old and very uncomfortable. The carpet was stained and dirty even with the daily vacuuming. We had cockroaches in the bathroom and the sink basin was cracked in several locations. The shower head seemed to be from the 1970s. Overall, we did have a place to stay and the staff were very friendly. But the quality of the hotel was very low!!
