Overall a nice place to stay if stopping through Wingham. Nice and quiet location and perfect if you’re wanting a round of golf. We chose this place as it had pet-friendly rooms which was perfect for us as we had our little corgi with us. First time in Wingham, sad to see most of the roads in the town are very run down, lots of pot holes. Hotel staff were friendly from the beginning and room was clean and good value. Great option if needing to stay in the area.
Unfortunately it was pouring rain the day/night we arrived. The roads were some of the worst I've ever seen - the potholes hard to imagine - so many. All full of water. We arrived and got our key from the safe. Room well positioned and comfortable. Reasonable shower. Parking at the door. We had the dog but the room was still good. We were close to the Club so went to the Chinese restaurant for dinner. Not too bad. They only opened recently. Bar and staff were excellent. Lovely walks the next morning. Quiet and peaceful. AK and staff were very helpful.
Stayed Friday the 15th August, had a deluxe room overlooking the pond with huge koi fish. Wow spotlessly clean room. Needed to speak with the owner, nothing was a problem and he couldn't do enough to make our stay welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here.
