This hotel was thee best hotel myself and my partner have been to in a very long time Rona and all the staff were absolutely brilliant with us! We even got a very kind and welcomed upgrade to a room with a very impressive view! Amazing food, amazing beer! Rooms immaculate Will definitely be returning Thank you Rona and staff again

Great Value and Quality at Golf View We visited Golf View this evening and enjoyed a two-course meal for two, including drinks, for just £54 – excellent value for money. The food was plentiful, well-prepared, and of good quality throughout. Starters were a highlight: the pâté was fresh and flavourful, served with perfectly crunchy oatcakes. The nachos, while slightly soft—likely due to time under a heat lamp—were still enjoyable and generously topped. For the mains, both dishes were attractively presented and full of flavour. The lasagna was cooked to perfection, and the "dirty fries" were indulgent and cheesy. The chips were nicely fried and served hot. Overall, a very rich and satisfying meal. Would definitely recommend for a casual, good-quality dining experience at a reasonable price.

Went in for a meal after not being there for some time. It was very quiet so not too many people ordering. The food quality has gone down hill. Brie starters were overcooked and like concrete (not eaten), mains were a mix some ok, but 2 out of a party of 3, were overcooked and tasteless along with the cutlery being dirty It is a shame as food used to be a higher quality. On the plus side Staff were lovely and we weren't charged for the items we returned.
