Golfhotel Hebelhof

We spend the afternoon and night here on our way to Italy. Lovely quiet place, friendly staff and a very nice dinner. Besides all of that we had fun with our two teenagers in the spa and gym. Playing chess in the garden, swimming, pingpong, darts and a pool table. Perfect fun after a long drive. Looking for a stop on your travels? Look no further :)

We stayed at the hotel with a very good deal which included breakfast and a three course dinner. The rooms are functional and clean and the bath/shower were newly renovated. Breakfast offered a wide choice and eggs were freshly fried and served. Dinner was excellent value for the money and tasted very good. The service was attentive and very pleasant. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Instead of reciting the wines they have, they brought us three glasses to taste them before making a choice - each one properly labeled with a paper coaster. Real good value for your money - the only downside is the well frequented main road about 200 yards away, which one hears when sleeping with open windows in summer (no aircon).

It's quite closer to the motorway and no air conditioning so if you get a room at the front of the hotel on the motorway side there will be an amount of traffic noise. I found the beds a little on the hard srhe for my taste. Apparently the new adjustments w are very nice and I believe only €25 a night more
