I stayed here recently on my visit to Guangzhou. I found all staff fantastic from the reception team right through to the hotel maids who look after the rooms. I was in a couple of rooms and found them to be clean & tidy but mostly important it was quiet. Views for myself were not that great but i did not stay here to look out windows. I would/will stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou.
Good location , near waterfront and Taikoo. If want to enjoy satisfied servers, It's better to choose senior room or higher, not suggest standard room style.
Lack of maintenance and cigarettes smell permeated the entire hotel and linens. Good location and services.
