Good location of a hotel for a nights stay when driving through Germany. Perfect parking outside. The personnell let us have our bicycle in the room which was much appreciated. Good and clean breakfast for a decent price. One major drawback for us was that I had pre-paid the stay through booking.com but yet the personnell told me to pay at the hotels front desk as well. So I had payed double, and it took me over a week with multiple emails to convince them they had done wrong. Finally I got refunded for one of the (wrong) payments initiated by them.
Honestly I can’t recommend this hotel. We ended up booking quite late at night (but still a couple hours before arriving) and the room we got hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. Once we had checked in and payed we were unable to get another room. I asked the receptionist for some clean sheets at least so we could remake the beds. He was nice and polite, it wasn’t his fault. But the situation was quite frustrating, especially having to handle late at night.
I had a disappointing experience at this hotel due to the unfriendly staff. While the rooms and location were decent, the attitude of the personnel really detracted from my stay. I can't recommend this place until some changes are made in their customer service.
