This place is amazing! We stayed in the old sheering headquarters for a night and enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the glass house restaurant. We could walk around the property and check out all the history. It was so quiet and peaceful and great value for money. Highly recommend.

We could only stay one night unfortunately however could not speak highly enough about our experience. From moment you arrive through the superbly maintained grounds you know you are in for a memorable stay. We were greeted by the delightful Daniella who helped us to settle in. The property is a converted station & as you walk around the immaculate gardens exploring the historic buildings & expansive views you cannot help be be transported to another era. The accommodation is luxurious & the swimming pool divine after a hot day. Thank you Goonoo Goonoo Station we hope to return soon!

Went for a family members 70th birthday and were treated abysmally. The location was beautiful, we were super excited to eat there but the service is absolutely awful, they are dismissive and to honest the food is really meh for what you are paying. bear in mind the price of things here, mains are $49, entrees $29 and at those prices they can't accommodate peoples needs? (btw the prawn Agnalotti is inedible, really really awful, we ordered 2 servings and couldn't make it through 1....with a party of 6...horrible) My family member is limited in what they can eat so they asked for the pasta from the children's menu sized up to a main (we were more than willing to spend the 49 for a full size), when this was pointed out they were dismissed like a petulant child. Made them feel tiny and insulted on their birthday for just asking for the restaurant to accommodate their needs without making a big deal about it, horrid service, really just the absolute worst. I used to work in and help run restaurants and if any of my staff ever talked to a customer like that I would turf them out straight away. So in short, the location is beautiful, the food is meh for the price and the service is laughably bad. Don't go, so many better restaurants in town, or just eat rocks it would be more satisfying
