The rooms are unkempt. When we went to reception and informed them that we had found a cockroach in the room and that my partner was afraid to sleep there, they claimed to be fully booked and said they couldn’t offer us anything else. They didn’t even bother to come and clean the room. The prices are charged as if for luxury, but the quality is far from reflecting that.
Unacceptable and disappointing. We arrived today, January 28th, at the Aparthotel Royal Resort in Zakopane, and the first thing that stood out was the appalling behavior of the receptionist with the black hair. From the start, she spoke to us with arrogance and a harsh tone, with no trace of politeness. We had booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, and when we entered the room, all we found was 1 double bed and a sofa. We thought there might have been a mistake, especially since the price we paid for 3 nights was quite high. So, we returned to the reception and politely asked if there had been any mistake with our reservation. The response we received was completely AGRESSIVE and DISMISSIVE. She told us that “the children will have to sleep on the sofa” and that “anything you need is stored inside the sofa,”. When I pointed out her shocking behavior and bad attitude she simply replied, “Yes, I know.” The management of the hotel must seriously consider the fact that such staff have no place at the reception, which is the "showcase" of the business. We came to relax, not to endure aggression and indifference. This behavior has completely overshadowed our experience and certainly does not reflect the level of service the hotel claims to offer.
Apartment was very clean and neat, kitchen fully equipped. We enjoyed the atmosphere and were quite happy with it despite of communication lack. It was cold inside when we checked in and there was no option to regulate the temterature. Most likely they enable heating from their side, it produces loud noise from time to time but we were not complaining about it Very DISAPPOINTED with hotel administration As can happen to anyone, we forgot some shopping on the terrace outside. Staff did not answer phone calls though they ususally answered immediately before, as we have contacted them before making reservation In total we lost our almost 100 Euro shopping, they told us they threw packed and fresh items away, what usually is reported to LOSTandFound department in each hotel. As mentioned, none of the phone calls has been answered, only 1 sentence per email. It is considered as fraud. What if you forget your brand new jeans and in a couple of hours you get message that they threw it away. Fraudulent behaviour, no respect unfortunately Please note, what you are paying for, it is far NOT CHEAP but you are treated realy badly
