We had a great time!! The rooms are meticulously designed , neat and clean. Breakfast was great. And most important, is that we've been able to absorb the real beauty of Tel Aviv in our short vacation.
Based on the good reviews we chose this hotel in Tel Aviv - but they no longer reflect the current situation. Rooms are still nice and comfortable, however the situation with the breakfast is simply not acceptable (as mentioned in newer reviews). They are offering guests leftovers and old food, wouldn't surprise me if someone gets food poisoning. Bread which is clearly many days old and hard as stone, 'fruits' ready for the garbage, juice which sits the machine for days, and so on. This bad experience was enough to not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Similar to other recent reviews, the experience at the Gordon Hotel and Lounge is VERY different than their website. No lounge, no front desk personnel, and our room was grimie, like the shower hadn’t been cleaned in years. Our bedding was old and worn and had a cigarette hole. We checked out early because the experience was so bad and we didn’t feel safe leaving our things there.
