The host was really friendly and accommodated for us when we had to arrive outside of the regular check-in time, even though it was very spontaneous (booked only a few hours in advance!). About the stay itself: The room is fine, it had everything we needed, and the location is just great. Right next to the entrance is a bus stop, where you can take direct busses to the train stations of Gorizia and Nova Gorica, and of course also other locations in the area. The station of Gorizia is also in walking distance.
Simple, everything you need and clean.
The location is good, you can find parking place for you car around the hotel, on the streets. Upon arrival, around 10:30 p.m., no one was waiting for us, even though we told them that we would probably arrive around 10:00 p.m. The hotel was completely unlit, there was no open reception and for check-in we had to call the owner. We did it and he only answered after a while so it occurred to us that the reservation is probably fake and that the hotel is closed. Finally, someone answered the call and opened the hotel door from somewhere inside. They told us they left our cards on a desk inside, we found them and entered the rooms. We didn't meet anyone during our stay so we came to the conclusion that the hotel is run remotely.
