We stayed in Rockery Retreat and it was beautiful. Grill provided to cook your own food outside, combo oven indoors. A perfect relaxing get away for a weekend and a short 5-10min drive into town if you need anything you might have forgotten to bring ☺️
Gorsebank is one of my favourite and most reliable places for a peaceful retreat from the world. Their pods and wigwams are superb, well equipped communal kitchen with little kettle, fridge and microwave inside your place. All facilities are spotlight clean and each visitor on site has a privately assigned toilet which is a true luxury. The wood fired hot tubs are such a nice addition to everything and allow for a night stargazing while relaxing. The place is surrounded with nature full of beautiful walks and mountain bike trails. I've been coming back and recommending this place since 2017. Truly amazing and the owners are nice, attentive and kind people. Did I mention dogs are welcomed on some of their facilities?
It’s a green bathing experience. We brought our food plus added a fresh trout we caught this morning. Eating by the fire, hot tub, watching a heron on the way to the bathroom block. Very relaxing experience
