Gothia Towers & Upper House

We stayed at Upper House as part of the Volvo Overseas Delivery program and were absolutely thrilled with our choice. This is a truly top-tier hotel experience. The absolute highlight for us was the spa. It's one of the best we've ever experienced, with multiple pools, a cold plunge, and several relaxation areas. Our personal favorite was the quiet room, which offered comfortable loungers and a stunning view of the city – pure bliss. The spa alone is worth a visit. Our suite was spacious and beautifully designed. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided amazing views, and the inclusion of two full 'his and hers' bathrooms was a fantastic luxury. While we didn't make much use of the separate living room, we certainly appreciated the sense of space. One minor note: we were visiting during an unseasonably hot period, and the A/C had trouble keeping up when we left the curtains open to enjoy the view. This was likely due to the extreme weather, but it's something to be aware of. Beyond the room and spa, the other amenities were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with the added bonus of a great view. We also had dinner at Heaven 23, which was a solid and enjoyable experience. Every staff member we encountered was professional, polite, and genuinely courteous. A quick practical tip: we found the self-parking entrance a little difficult to find and ended up using the valet service, which was perfectly seamless and easy. We would highly recommend Upper House and would gladly return on our next visit to Gothenburg.

Booked a standard rate room for one night at Upper House, which includes spa access and breakfast. The hotel is very modern with lots of great facilities and of course the views are spectacular. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I do want to give a special mention to Molly and the front desk team who very kindly upgraded my room for the night. It was a super lovely touch and I really appreciated it. The location is also fantastic, a short tram from Gothenburg city centre and you’re just a hop and a skip away from Liseberg amusement park. The spa is beautiful, you could easily spend a full afternoon in there. Of course the highlight being the panoramic pool with its slightly terrifying glass floor! Overall I would highly recommend a stay here, great views, great facilities and a super lovely team running the place.

Upper House is a first class living experience like no other. From a dedicated check in to the included spa to the restaurant with amazing views, Upper House offers a distinctive hospitality experience. Reception are kind and knowledgeable, offering their services to make staying here even more enjoyable. Molly is very kind and was a welcome face after a long day. The morning breakfast is full flavored and super healthy and perfect for everyone including kids. We lived this breakfast and it made us all the better throughout the day. The spa is unimaginable. Beyond compare. And Eric our guide explained the process and for that we had an amazing experience. The outdoor see through pool is a cool novelty. But as you venture into the spa you become immersed in an other worldly sensation. Downstairs we had a night cap and Vord was there to support our fun. He was funny and informative and the perfect person to train anyone in hospitality how to create great guest experiences. The restaurant/bar on the 25th floor is a great destination for cocktails after a day touring. Great experience all through the hotel. Warm, kind, helpful employees who make you feel at home.
