Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort

This was our second time staying at this hotel — a return visit that speaks for how much we love it here. To our surprise, the front desk staff recognized that we were returning guests and kindly upgraded us to a Family Room with Shared Pool. Such a thoughtful gesture! I highly recommend this room type: the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and well-maintained, and the shower has great water pressure. The best part? The pool is just steps away from the terrace — absolutely perfect for a relaxing holiday. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Whether at the front desk, the bar, or housekeeping, every staff member was warm, polite, and professional. We truly had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Incredible amount of swimming pools. An amazing time for kids. Loads of really good slides. And play areas. It's an inclusive resort . So you get Free ice cream. A really good place to have lunch where they have a small burger stall If you don't fancy going to the buffet. Not the best cocktails at a resort I've had. Are they weren't bad. The food is fine. Again, not as good as I had at other resorts but still very nice. A lot of selection. It looks like they're building an extension to the dining area and more rooms. Bedrooms were fine. Not very big but they did the job. You already slept in them really. Kids activities were good. Kids disco was great at the end or night. The entertainment was hitting or miss.

We are currently on day 6 of our 7-night stay at Gouves Water Park Holiday Resort and would happily rate it 4 stars so far. The rooms are clean, modern and well looked after, making it a comfortable base for the week. Staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and the service around the resort has really added to the experience. The location is also great – Gouves itself is nice and quiet, but you’re only a short taxi or bus ride from Hersonissos which is well worth a visit. The centre there is beautiful with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, and the Aquarium nearby has been a real highlight. Overall, a great family resort and we’d definitely consider coming back.
