GR Solaris Lighthouse

Our first time using Solaris. Our first day was not what we expected, quite disappointing actually as it was under construction, rook was not what we expected and bar staffing was poor. We heard it was under new management and being renovated. Surprisingly over the days we saw impressive and huge improvements; both lobby’s opened and are absolutely beautiful, staffing levels were increased and we had some evening entertainment although short venues they were pretty nice. The guest staff was always available and helpful, over the top actually. We left relaxed, happy and Excited to see all the expected changes when we return next year.

The room we got (3108) was EXCELLENT. Good house keeper. Kept the room n bathroom clean. The location of this resort is good too. Only minus is the Noise coming from the night events if you want to have a peaceful night. Food was delicious and plenty. Beware of the TIMESHARE though. Takes much of your day.

WARNING!!!! Do Not Stay At This Resort!!! My wife and I had to stay at GR Solaris Lighthouse after our flight had been cancelled following our wedding in Cabo San Lucas. We did not willing choose to stay here. The room was fine, but the food was terrible. We checked out the next day and once we got home we realized that we had forgotten earrings that I had gotten for my wife on our wedding day and some cash in the safe. We contacted the resort and was told that people were in the room and the safe had not been opened. We spent a week calling back every day until finally one manager told us that the investigation came back and they had opened the safe 2 days after our stay. They admitted that the safe was locked and security had to open it but claim that there was nothing inside. My questions, “why would a safe be locked then?” They would not provide me proof of stay since the airport booked the hotel nor would they provide me a copy of the investigation report which I needed for my insurance claim. It has been 3 weeks of continuous fighting with them for any sort of help. I urge anyone staying here to reconsider. They ruined a very joyous occasion in our lives and took no responsibility to sentimental items that were left secured at their property. Again, anyone thinking of staying here, I strongly urge against it.
