Graceland Bangkok by Grace Hotel

It’s lovely !!I booked via BOOKING but on the way here I used Google for the taxi…..and saw so many terrible reviews that I almost went elsewhere. It’s a lovely place with spacious rooms and generally clean. I’d recommend

Bad things: The receptionist attitude is not as hotel level expectation, rooms smell cigarettes even though i booked non smoking room, the smoke detector kept flashing and maintenance guy had to put tape on it, room service, house keeping and reception number always busy you have to go down to ask for assistance, only 1 room access card were provided and they said we don’t have extra cards to provide, found some small insects in the room from time to time. Good things: house keeping always ready to clean your room in once you leave in the morning or whenever you need them, the guys at the main entrance are always smiling and welling to help, the location of the hotel is decent but they are better option. Overall there are many better options nearby this hotel don’t waste your time booking this hotel unless you you don’t have high expectations.

TRAVELLER BEWARE Never stay here. Read all the negative reviews about this place and believe them. We booked on booking.com (who also took the hotel's side when we tried to cancel the booking) and upon arriving entering the room it reeked of cigarettes(we booked a non-smoking), there were renovations going on (corridors smelled like glue and construction workers were using equipment) and there was a general dampness/mould everywhere. After asking for a refund, they offered to change rooms (which also smelt like mould), then they offered to change us to the next hotel (which had even worse reviews). Seeing that others have had a very similar experience, I'm sure this is how they run their business, so this is why I'm writing the review so you don't book it in the first place.
