I just returned from my second recent stay at The Graduate Hotel in Bloomington and have nothing but high praise for the property and staff. One of my visits was for my daughter's orientation at Indiana University and the other was for business that I had in the area. On both occasions, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They were helpful on every occasion that I chatted with them. It's pretty apparent that they have great training and outstanding leadership. I was fortunate to get an upgrade to a suite during my most recent visit. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only regret is that I was only able to stay there for one night. I'll be coming to Bloomington with great frequency over the next four years and look forward to making The Graduate my home away from home.

Great location and friendly staff. Only a few minor issues. Elevators are horribly slow considering there are 2 elevators and only 6 floors. Water pressure is not good. I was surprised dogs were allowed in such a nice hotel. Apparently one pooped in the elevator and although it was mopped up you could still smell it and the odor was strong. Other than those minor issues, it was a great for me and my partners for our annual partner retreat.

Had a great weekend at the Graduate. Kennedy at the front desk was a standout—warm, helpful, and friendly every time we walked through the lobby. Made a difference. Also want to shout out Dee, the building engineer, who helped us with a small room issue quickly and kindly. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to everything IU and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, and campus. Also, that rooftop is the biggest in the city and makes for an unbeatable sunset view. Only downside: with a family of three, the king-size room felt tight. We’ll book a suite next time. Still, loved the vibe and service. Will be back.
