Graduate by Hilton Columbia SC

This was a great overnight for our party of 4 - 3 generations! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sitting room. Perfect connecting rooms and the wildest decor I guess I've ever seen! Nice pub downstairs for some dinner and a wine. We had no dog with us, but met a few there. Definitely on our list for travel again!

Stayed a week at the Graduate by Hilton Columbia for a work conference last week. First time in this area, and it’s a great spot! Right on USC’s campus, super close to downtown restaurants. The Gamecock-themed decor is awesome and gives it a fun vibe. My room was clean, bed was comfy, but the bathroom’s a bit tiny. The Trophy Room bar was perfect for chilling after the conference. Their bourbon cocktails were legit. The $10 parking fee was a little annoying, but the garage felt safe. Really enjoyed it and the area and would stay again! It was nice getting a chance to explore another pretty city, since I've just moved to the state as well... Will be back

Ive stayed here several times the past 2 years as mu son is a Carolina student. The past 3 times have been average at best. Idk what's happening with Graduate hotels, but they're quickly losing what made them awesome. The food in the Trophy Room went from being plentiful and impressive to tiny, flat burgers and Club sandwiches that literally had 3 pieces and turkey and 3 tiny pieces of bacon. We had to ask for a drink 3 times. The gentleman running the bar was clearly bothered by everyone in there and acted like we were all bothering him. Definitely below average food and service. Im also enclosing my receipt for 1 night, where I was charged twice for many "fees" and when I questioned them I was told "I'll let the manager know" which is useless . Be prepared for all kinds of fees on your bill. Sadly, after several stays here we will not be back. Graduate has an opportunity to have something really special with these hotels, and they seem to be going backwards with customer service and experience. I will also add that the beds were very soft and uncomfortable and the floor in the elevator was filthy. Definitely not what we expect from a place that charges such high prices. We just happened to be there on an off night, so it wasn't as high as it normally is. It's a cute place and the vibe is fun, but something has definitely changed the past year or so
