Beautifully kept and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful. Enjoyed the location as well. You can valet your car or park on the streets overnight (9am-9pm 2 hour parking limit though). Downtown, eateries, and the CTA trains were walkable distance. The lake is only 2 blocks away.

I found this place to be wonderful. Location is perfect and feels like a rare gem. Again it’s not your modern city hotel but more like a high rise bed and breakfast. The room was clean, it was easy to get in and out, my king room was massive, walkable coffee shops, lots of restaurants nearby, nice park to jog along the lake and there was ample free street parking.

This hotel is absolutely awful!!! First the clerk at the hotel was a witch. She was so awful. I booked a room through a third party and the clerk claimed I never paid for it. I checked with my bank it was paid and the third party said my reservation was not canceled. The awful clerk decided she could could not give me a room. The whole town is full and because her little computer said it was canceled and I had proof that it wasn’t and what it was paid for in full $365. She claimed she was the supervisor but wasn’t sure. The answer to all this, it ended up the hotel canceled the room because they overbooked the hotel. Nightmare I do not recommend anyone staying here. The rooms for all the other patrons were not cleaned by 4pm check in time and the place is old. Never have I ever been treated so horribly and I am nice to the service industry because I k ow their jobs are tough. DO NOT stay here ever!!!!!!
