Perfect location for our next 3 days of travel. Beautiful clean place. Very safe yet in mid-city.
This hotel is clean and well-staffed in the car valet department, but accessibility needs significant improvement. I can’t recommend it for guests with mobility issues until they install entry ramps and revise their umbrella/wheelchair policy. When we arrived, it was raining heavily, and entering the hotel was tricky, given that there was no ramp to help us up the stairs. It was even trickier with a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. I was disappointed that they wouldn’t let my 91-year-old grandmother borrow a wheelchair and let me borrow (not have!) an umbrella. Even when I asked if they could annotate it to the room number, they said NO, that I could only borrow it inside the hotel. This policy made no practical sense during a downpour. Very upsetting to have received this customer service at the price tag paid.
Place is beautiful. Restaurant is so bad. Breakfast lacks so much. Service is terrible with many staff angry. Takes so much time to get anything. In general this whole place seems to have been renovated but is lacking substance and anything appealing for the price.
