This property is a bit run down. We stayed on the 3rd floor on the far right of the hall, and the hallway smelt old and moldy. The WiFi keeps cutting especially on our last day when I needed to check in for my flight, the connection kept cutting off. I gave 3* because the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was average. I don’t know how the chef cooked scrambled eggs but it looked disgustingly watery and saggy. This property is nicely located and okay to stay for 2 nights at most. It is 30 minutes ride by car from Iguazú International Airport, 15 minutes to Iquazú falls, Argentinian side and 30 minutes to the Brazilian frontier (there is a long wait to get to the Brazilian frontier & back to Argentina) depends highly on the season. Visiting Iguazú highly recommend you see both sides Brazil & Argentina. The property is near the Tres Frontiers and in the City Center. I love my stay in Iguazú and wished have stayed more days than 2 nights.
The room was rather nice. The lobby, restaurant and inside the rooms are nice. Elsewhere, it is rundown. The steps and structures out to the rather nice pool area are decrepit and shaky. Loose boards and leaning posts. Reallly bad. The pool area was of average cleanliness and upkeep. Not great. It was a nice setting though. Service was good at the hotel itself. Breakfast was good with the typical fare. Dinner was good too with huge portions. Decent value for a few nights and convenient to the falls, which BTW are freaking spectacular!!! The room was quite clean and pretty nice. However there were a number of things that were broken or showing lots of wear. Door trim, the fan in the bathroom made a very loud noise and was loose. And every time we closed the door, the nearby breaker box cover fell off. I put it back on a few times 🙂The window trim on the outside was rusted heavily and had rotten wood. The tour desk there that was supposed to help with transport and such, was staffed by a man that was not friendly at all and had zero interest in trying to interact in English even when we translated using Google translate. We did hire a driver in Brazil previously so we contacted him to help us instead.
Close to park and away from downtown. But thin walls old rooms. Bathrooms old. Ac spit water on you while you sleep. Bed is sub par for money. Won't return too many fails like the free breakfast was not good. Taxi dude in front was cool and used him to go to park
