Our stay at Gran Tacande Hotel in Adeje, Tenerife was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation conditions were flawless – spotless rooms, modern amenities, and an atmosphere of pure comfort. The breakfast was delicious and varied, offering something for every taste, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. To make our experience even more special, we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Gold Level. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking – overlooking the pools and the endless ocean, it felt like a dream. This hotel truly delivers excellence in every detail. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a high-standard environment. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, polite, and kind. The rooms were cleaned every day — always spotless, nicely scented, with water and coffee replenished regularly. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and very clean, with the staff making sure everything stayed in perfect order. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavor, and made from top-quality ingredients. The hotel offers a beautiful view from the sky bar and the pool area. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the most stunning beach in Costa Adeje.

Wonderful hotel! We especially liked the rooftop bar and the wide variety at the breakfast buffet. Everyone from the staff is also very friendly. The hotel is very beautiful and is at a nice location. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby. However we would not rank this hotel as a 5 star hotel. Especially because of the lack of variety at the evening buffet. Always the same options. Some things change a bit but if you stay longer than a week you get bored of it quickly. The dessert buffet is really lacking variation and especially quality: this is more a 3 star dessert buffet rather than a 5 star. Also the floor at the pool is sometimes very dirty still in the morning. I see sometimes that staff is cleaning it but it stays quite dirty. Unfortunately you also had to reserve sunbeds in the morning otherwise you just don’t have one. But this is in a lot of hotels the case and I understand it is difficult to do something about this. Overall we had a really nice stay but for the price we paid we expected that little bit more. Credits to Jelle, the meat and fish chef! He always prepares it with love and a smile!
