Grand Alisa Hotel

I had a wonderful stay! This hotel offers the best value for money I've seen in a long time. The variety of food was excellent, with something new and delicious to try every day. The staff provided amazing customer service, always going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend it!

Over all experience at the hotel was very good, better than the other reviews say. The rooms were clean when we arrived and were cleaned every other day and came with a mini fridge and a nice balcony. The service was also very good as the receptionist are very nice and were there to help when I got a deep cut and called the on site nurse to come and help. the only downside is that there is a on site activities manager that came up to us many times trying to get us to sign up to day trips. The prices were good and he was a nice person it’s just that he was very persistent and would sometimes come up to us as we were eating to ask if we needed activities for tomorrow. The hotel is also in a really good spot as it is super close to the beach and has a nice views from the balcony. The food is alright too there is obviously traditional food but there is also more basic food for picky eaters. But if you end up not liking the food or want something different there is a mall not far from the hotel (like a 5-10) minute walk I forgot what it’s called but there are loads of fast food places you can eat at with dessert places too.

Although the price was dirt cheap, this hotel is WAY below standard. The staff were lovely, can’t fault them at all. However, we arrived at 5am and was given the wrong room straight away. This was rectified quickly. Then once we got to our actual room (2201) it was nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was a mess (smashed soap dispenser, mould on shower head, NO HOT WATER AT ALL). The beds were like bricks and the ac was ridiculously loud. The food was absolutely shocking, horrible quality with absolutely no options at all, we paid for all inclusive and ended up eating out every night anyway. The alcohol isn’t the best and the all inclusive cut off time is 10pm then your paying €10 per drink. Pool shuts at 7pm, it’s alright. Nothing special. The whole hotel is in dire need of refurbishment in almost every category you can think of. The entertainers are very pushy constantly trying to get you to buy things then make you feel horrible for saying no. The location of the hotel is very good, with the beach being a 2 minute walk, shops in every direction and a half decent restaurant across the street. Don’t get me wrong this hotel is good for budget holidays but don’t get your hopes up for ANYTHING here, it will leave you very disappointed.
