Grand Ambassador Seoul associated with Pullman

Our family's first visit to Seoul was nothing short of exceptional, and much of that can be attributed to the outstanding service and luxurious amenities at The Ambassador Seoul. This hotel truly exemplifies the standards of a 5-star establishment. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the exquisite attention to detail, elegant finishes, and stunning decor that set the tone for a memorable stay. Although we encountered a few issues during check-in, the staff handled them swiftly and courteously, ensuring that our experience remained seamless and enjoyable. Our children were thrilled with the family room, which featured a delightful bunk bed and a fun slide, making their stay even more special. The hotel’s pools, gym, and spa facilities are truly world-class, providing ample opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend The Ambassador Seoul for couples and families alike. If you're seeking a luxurious, high-end experience in the heart of the city, this is undoubtedly the place to stay.

We stayed at Pullman Seoul for the first leg of our South Korea trip and it was fantastic. We booked the Korean room which has a low bed with heating under the mattress which is very nice. The room is very specious and comfortable with a perfect relaxing bed and pillows. The breakfast buffet was the highlight for me! Great variety of delicious food especially the dim sum! We also went to the lounge in the evening up to the top with a beautiful city skyline view and plenty of food and drinks! There is a hotel pool and spa indoor and the urban escape outdoor pool with onsen available in the hotel. While it wasn't summer yet, it was nice to be able to relax by the pool and read under the sun! All the staff were very friendly and professional! We had 2 tours booked while we were in Seoul and they were within 30 minutes walk from the hotel to the pick up locations so it was perfect! It was also amazing to be able to see the N Seoul tower from the room and the lounge upstairs! All the 5 star hotels we stayed in in South Korea have the same rule about charging for amenities as per government policy so sadly that's just how the country operates.

We enjoyed our time in Seoul, and staying with The Ambassador Seoul made our stay pleasant. However, for a 5-star hotel, I expected more in terms for services. I found out that the stay we booked (despite paying over $400 a night), did not include breakfast. Additionally, no toiletries were provided in the hotel rooms and needed to be gotten from the lobby (+ a donation was required for these). In any other five-star hotel, these basic services would have easily been complimentary. I just feel like for the price we paid, these should have been included. Additionally, there were no bellboys stationed at the front of the hotel. We brought our luggages in and out of the hotel ourselves. The front desk personnel were helpful. They were actually the only staff I saw during our 7-night stay aside from the valet drivers out front. It seems there aren't a lot of staff in this hotel. Nonetheless, the room we stayed in was beautiful and perfect for our family (since we booked the family suite with the slide.)
