Grand Antares Hotel

I used to stay here everytime I came to Medan. Last time I was there they treated me like I was stupid. Spent so much time and money here. They forced us to wait outside. Not near the lobby So next time we will stay across the street.

The worst hotel I have been to. The room stanked badly. There were cigarette smell. The lights were flickering. The bathroom and bedsheets were very dirty. The room was very dusty and smelled so bad. The food was horrible. Please do not trust the 4 star rating. This hotel is probably a poorly maintained budget hotel with a nice outer appearance.

Room were booked by our travel agency..it was mentioned as 4 star hotel but dont be fooled! 1. Room lighting is really2 poor..upon entry its seems like in a horror movie 2. Cleanlines especially in the toilet is so bad..stain, mouldy and crack here and there 3. The wallpaper torn out 4. The whole stay filled with a ciggerate smell even the housekeeping already came to spray the air freshner, still cant overcome the problem. 5. Sound proofing is bad. Can easily here the sound from outside. 6. The water pressure also so slow..we have to stand near to the dirty wall when need to shower. Its sucks! 7. The mini bar door also broken. 8. Only 1 plug for the whole room, and u can find others inside the mini bar (referigerator area) which is very2 inconvenience to use there. We had tried to ask for the other room but its a full house, no choice then. Overall this hotel really need a major refurbish. Wont be coming to this budget hotel anymore!
