GRAND Aston Varadero Beach Resort

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grand Aston Varadero – One of the Best Stays in Cuba! We just returned from a beautiful vacation at Grand Aston Varadero, and I can honestly say — it was one of the best resort experiences we’ve had in Cuba. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home with warm, welcoming service that never felt forced. Everyone was kind, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. 💛 The resort itself is modern, elegant, and spotless — a step above many others in the area. Our room was spacious with a stunning ocean view, great air conditioning, and super comfortable beds. 🌴 The beach? Absolutely dreamy. Powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and enough loungers and shaded areas to relax all day. 🍽️ The food exceeded our expectations! Considering Cuba’s well-known supply limitations, the variety, freshness, and effort put into each meal was really appreciated. The chefs and staff deserve a huge shoutout for making it special. The pool, lobby, spa, and entertainment were all top-notch — and you could tell the team here takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-run resort in Varadero with a premium feel, Grand Aston is it. We’d absolutely return! ☀️🇨🇺

My boyfriend and I stayed here back in October and had a really nice time! 🥰 The hotel is new, clean, and modern, and our room was spacious. We also really enjoyed the food — the restaurants offered a great variety (sushi, pasta, steak, etc.) and were definitely better than the buffet. Service was excellent, and the evening entertainment was fun, with different shows every night. The only downside was the beach — it was very rocky with limited space, so we couldn’t swim and spent most of our time by the pools instead. Aside from that, we thought the hotel was great overall — just wish the beach had been better! 🥰

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort – 5.5/10 My girlfriend and I stayed at the Grand Aston Varadero and had a mixed experience. While we met some amazing staff, the resort itself has room for improvement. Pros: • Cheylin (snack bar manager) was super friendly and treated us like family — her hot fries were a hit! • Lorena gave excellent service at the buffet. • Richard and Manuel at the beach bar were attentive and hardworking. • Havana excursion was incredible — our tour guide, Louisa (“Mama”), made it unforgettable. Cons: • One side of the pool turned green from poor chlorine balance and wasn’t fully cleaned even after 3 days. • Bed linens and towels were often stained or not fully cleaned. We had to call the front desk several times. • Shower head was rusty and unusable — we only used the handheld. • Limited entertainment — the game room was small and most activities were weather-dependent. Food: Hit or miss. Pasta, bread, pizza, and breakfast were usually decent. Overall, we made the best of our stay thanks to the great staff and the Havana tour, but the resort needs better maintenance and cleanliness— we’d only recommend it if you’re prepared for a simple stay and manage expectations.
