Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel

I stayed here for a day as I had a flight the next afternoon. The hotel is modern, quite big and value for money. The rooms are big, with the bathroom really big. The WC is separate and there is a shower area and a bath tub with an amazing view. The room is comfortable, with a bed mattress and towels etc of good quality. The hotel is walking distance from the airport with a dedicated walkway from the airport to the hotel. They have a utility shop, a beer shop, spa, gym and swimming pool, coffee shop and a few restaurants. The breakfast was complimentary and was quite good. There was a lavish spread with many options to choose from, better than many star hotels in China. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel except a beautiful park where you can walk. You can walk to the airport where you have many restaurants, few shops etc but remember they don't open till late night. The staff were courteous but couldn't speak or understand English, they used a mobile translator to communicate. You can have a room with a view of the airport and the runway. Surprisingly there was no noise coming inside the room.Overall it's a good option if you need an overnight stay near the airport.

The hotel is in the airport premises. Theres a pathway from the hotel directly to the airport around 10minutes walk. Very convenient. The rooms were modern and elegant. There is a pool in the ground floor. There is also a buffet in the second floor, but for me the food were just average. The lobby is very aesthetics. Overall experienced, this is a very nice and and luxurious and convenient hotel.

Good location to airport. However aircon not working. Fridge not cleaned. Had soneones half drunk drink in there. No iron. Coffee pod machine broken. Service desk lady rude. Called Asian people to move up in front of us and served them first. Lack of English speaking staff. Very little western/English food. For an airport hotel they need to accommodate for all
