I recently had the pleasure of doing a personal training session with Michael at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside — and honestly, it was one of the unexpected highlights of my stay. Michael brings a rare mix of positive energy, deep knowledge, and real human connection. From the start, he made the session feel tailored and personal. He’s not just running through exercises — he’s fully present, focused, and genuinely invested in helping you get the most out of yourself. What stood out most: he cares. You feel it in the way he listens, motivates, and pays attention to every detail. He meets you where you are, challenges you with purpose, and makes the entire experience feel both professional and personal. Coaches like Michael are rare — and the Grand Beach Hotel is lucky to have him. If you’re staying here and want to reset, move, or simply feel better in your body, I highly recommend booking a session. It’s more than a workout — it’s time well spent.

We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. Planning a wedding in just six months could have been stressful, but Kelbert Fleming, the Area Director of Sales and Events, made the process seamless from start to finish. He and the entire hotel team were incredibly accommodating and attentive. The ceremony on the beach was absolutely breathtaking — a perfect setting. The rooftop cocktail hour offered stunning views and set the tone for what became an amazing evening. The ballroom was beautifully arranged, and the food throughout the event was truly five-star. Many of our guests commented that it was one of the best meals they've ever had at a wedding. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel, and the feedback across the board was terrific. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel’s location right on the beach made for a perfect weekend getaway — the beach itself is gorgeous. From the accommodations to the service to the food, everything exceeded expectations. We’re deeply grateful to the Grand Beach team for helping us create a weekend we’ll never forget.

Wonderful experience. Firstly, my error by selecting the wrong location upon booking. So having to move further up the coast was not setting us off on the right start to our vacation. However, immediately upon arrival, we were met with exceptional hospitality. Melissa- thank you for being so kind and even accommodating us with our room selection error. Friendly staff, beautiful and calm location, yummy food and drink service delivered right to the beach. Truly turned our day around and set us up to the start of a wonderful and much needed break. We will always return to this location moving forward.
