A resort like no other. You're surrounded by the jungle, so going anywhere (pool, beach, restaurants) required 1 or 2 shuttles and a good amount of walking but I didn't mind. You're in paradise. We never waited longer than 5 mins for a shuttle. The staff is the most courteous and friendly I've ever experienced. The main pool area is large, clean and beautiful! The only downside is that the rooms don't have a kitchen so you will probably eat out for all meals, which gets expensive, but we had so much delicious food. Salum was our favorite dinner spot since there's so much variety and for breakfast we loved the buffet at Del Lago, which was only about $30 per person and included coffee, juices, breakfast foods, pastries, tacos and sushi. The Mexican fiesta at Del Lago was fantastic with great performers, food and drinks. Worth the price!

I had left a comment, stating how I truly felt the very first day, Pablo made sure we felt welcomed and even gave us some delicious fruit. The rooms and views are beautiful. But to walk to everywhere it’s extremely far. They gave us great service the only bad thing is that all the food and activities are not included I suggest bringing lots of extra money! Once again thank you Pablo for apologizing and making our stay more welcoming!

The resort is enormous. You can walk most places and they have electric shuttles and gas driven shuttles that can transport you place to place. You need to plan the extra time to walk or wait for the shuttles. If you're in a gas shuttles sit as far back as you can or you will breath exhaust fumes during the whole ride. The walking trails are mostly well marked but sometimes not, or sometimes the lights on the signs are broken and you can't read them at night. Walking the trails is beautiful and mostly shaded by all the vegetation; it's like waking through a jungle. There are birds, coatis and iguanas. The rooms are huge and well appointed. The staff is consistently delightful and helpful. The food is very good but expensive by Mexican standards. Expect to pay what you would in a nice US beach resort. There is a small market where you can buy snacks and food. Some of the restaurants are closed, and some open only on some days, and not all do both lunch and dinner so ask first. The resort has a mostly helpful app to find things and guide you through the place and has menus. The Wi-Fi is free and available through out the resort. Menus are usually accessed through a QR code or the app. My wife got Montezuma's revenge there. The beach club is luxurious and the main pool is enormous. The beach is fine for waking in the sand but swimming is awkward because of the reef. The Cirque du Soleil show was excellent and we chose the dinner option and the food was outstanding. Pricey but worth the money. Highly disappointing was the timeshare presentation. We were genuinely interested and the first two hours were informative. Once we let them know that we would not make a decision while we were there the hard sell began and they kept us another 2.5 house and really messed up our day. It was such a terrible experience it spoiled our stay.
