This hotel is rather old. The elevators are small, the room for 2 persons is compact and the room air-conditioner is not working well. The hotel staffs are helpful, though. We stayed here for 2 nights, and I guess that should be enough.
Service is really frustrating, staff is awfully rude, when we couldn't get into room we asked an another key and they mistreated us. They want help if something goes wrong with room opening
If you do not want to pay in dollars, as the receptionists want, you will have a very unfavorable conversion rate in UZS, unrelated to the bank rate. The most unbearable thing is that if you pay by credit card, you will validate a price that does not match the one that will be charged to you as soon as the hotel applies another rate by adding the bank charges at its expense. Real scam. Your validated credit card receipt does not correspond to the amount debited. It's a shame because the room is very decent, which is not the case for breakfast.
