Grand Cititel Hanoi Hotel

We stayed at the Grand Citadel Hotel in Hanoi and absolutely loved it! The location is fantastic—tucked just far enough from the main hustle to feel peaceful, yet only a short walk to the Old Quarter’s vibrant streets, markets, and cafés. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a cozy bed and good air conditioning—much appreciated in Hanoi’s summer heat! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with directions, transport, or recommendations for local food. Breakfast each morning was fresh and varied, with both Vietnamese and Western options. One of the highlights was the warm, welcoming atmosphere; we felt truly looked after. Whether you’re in Hanoi for sightseeing, food adventures, or simply soaking up the city’s charm, this hotel is a great choice. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

I had a lovely stay at Grand Cititel Hanoi Hotel. Solo female traveller, felt very safe and it was a great location within walking distance of main attractions around Old Quarter in Hanoi. The concierge helped me with my luggage, reception upgraded my room on arrival, breakfast was SO good with multiple options catering to different dietary needs, staff were all so beautiful and lovely, and the room was comfortable and clean. Rooftop gym was small but had everything you need, and spa services were really nice too. Cannot fault this hotel and if returning to Hanoi would stay here again. I spent one night. The staff is excellent. I could not have breakfast so they made me a takeaway bag. Comfortable bed, clean room. Little gym on the floor, little pool. They should quit the annoying music there and put either nothing or some quiet lounge music. Apart from that, perfect !
