Grand Deluxe Hotel

We book this hotel from Hotels.com. The hotel, rooms and service was great however, we were very unfortunate with the dates. The city has junior high school soccer tournament. they had a Georgian team staying in the Hotel. They were literally acting like uncontrolled hooligans. 5-7 kids were constantly in the elevators, they lock themselves in and out of rooms, they break their own room doors. Worst of all their coaches or teachers were drunk like no tomorrow. They were yelling and screaming in the lobby. Literally lobby was like a monkey jungle loaded with ton of wild baboons. We did not stay in that chaos for the night and short cut our trip. What deserves 5 star is; the quality of the hotel and great customer service provided. Ms. Gulumser Belik and Mr. Sezer Cagatay did everything possible within their power to make us happy. Despite the disaster they both were very calm, extremely professional, they never loose their cool and they genuinely try their best to calm us and especially my 83 years old mom. Two thumbs up, best customer service you can find in the industry, this remark comes from a sailor who have been in hotels more than hundred countries. They gave us the hotel's CEO Mr. Samet Soydemir's business card. We called him few days later, he was also very professional, patient, respectful and despite the troubles he is in with Hooligan's pack, he was solution oriented and he told us; "if we would call him that day, he could have place us in to another hotel." Sour experience we had with rude hooligans, did not effect our honest observation, this hotel is very good, customer service is superb and second to none. We will definitely book this place on our next trip to Trabzon. Of course we will call ahead to see if they have any soccer teams staying :-))

A lovely hotel for the price. The rooms are not ideal but still very good. Breakfast is more than modest. Would recommend this place

I spent a weekend here and I liked it. The room was nice and clean. I especially liked the lobby where we could spend a good time with my fellow travellers. The tram stop is close, that tram takes you to the interesting part of the seashore.
