Grand Elite Pekanbaru

This is my first time here, I came for event in the hotel hall. I can't review the room 'cause I didn't stay here. However, for the service for us who are training event here, the staff is quite friendly. The hall was cold, the snacks and lunch were good. Just me, for facilities such as projectors have been problematic several times, so delaying time for our event. Spacious parking, toilets and mushola are also clean.

Location is good easy to access for food or nice dinner, old hotel but maintain, the staff not all friendly, breakfast standard, the problem for people who not smoking like me i cant stand the smoking inside the hotel, especially breakfast time everybody smoking so its not comfortable, even inside the lobby. Full air conditionee with a lot of smoke, room is big, but really old. For shampoo almost finished they never replace it or fill it up. My first and my last here, ooh and please be careful the cabinet table can easily fall to your foot.

By the time I write this review, I’m still staying at the hotel (I regret booking it for 2 nights, staying in a hotel like this). First, I booked non smoking room with a merged twin beds. Maybe my expectation was too high, because they only put the twin beds side by side without actually merging it. And the middle table was also rearranged in a weird position. The lighting is so dim. Second, the air conditioner has issue. They sent an engineer to take a look but he was just pressing the button and said that the room will get cooler soon. I waited until now and it’s still hot as hell. Third, I tried connecting to wifi and it was unavailable. For the price I paid, there are many budget hotels with better amenities and service level. I haven’t tried the gym and breakfast so I will update it here. Hi Grand Elite Hotel Management, please fix your wifi issue. All my work is postponed because of the poor connection.
