Grand Elty Krakatoa Resort

Didn’t stay here but visited the restaurant and the beach. Absolutely excellent view of Mount Rajabasa from its beach, which is unparalleled and I don’t think you can find it anywhere else. Service in the restaurant was speedy and the food was delicious. It was also definitely cheap too, compared to Javanese prices. One drawback is that the beach is open to the public for a fee and therefore it can be quite an “attraction” atmosphere, not particularly romantic, despite the views. But they probably have other beaches, I don’t know. You can see Mount Krakatau too but a bit further.

The resort offers significant potential, particularly due to its stunning private beach view. Guests can enjoy the clear water and white sand on its beautiful beach. However, there are areas for improvement regarding the accommodations. The room may require attention, dampness, uneven flooring, and non-fitting bed sheets. Additionally, the bathrooms appear to need updating and cleaning. One concerning thing is a cockroach in the shower area, highlighting the necessity for enhanced maintenance.

To be honest, too many complex impressions for this place. Lemme try to describe it by telling my story. First, resort area is impressive. It has a satisfying view, plus more water activity available at this place. Second, food: it's hard to give even just for 3 stars review. It didn't build good memory for me. Third, laundry experience. Well this one kinda subjective. At 7 PM, I asked recept. if they it was possible to pick up my laundry (since it was a wet one, I would like to get rid of it ASAP. It's ok if I receive it the next day). The recept. told me it was ok and they would send their housekeep. I postponed outdoor activity for about 30 minutes while waiting for no one to come. It wasn't a good one. That's my story, you can conclude it for yourself. Hope they can make it better.
