Awesome accomodation, very clean and overall a very new place. Good gym, pool, sauna and a great breakfast. Only thing for us is location, it’s sort of stuck in the middle between two more busy areas (we also went in off season so pretty quiet overall). Personally I would stay over the bridge in Halong City if I came again rather than Bai Chay.
Probably the best hotel we’ve been to during our 3 months on the road. Staff was super friendly, it was soooooo clean, the room and bathroom were gorgeous and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We were especially hyped about the buffet, there was so much! There is also a rooftopbar, a swimmingpool and gym which we enjoyed. Also a great restaurant to have dinner! Would absolutely recommend 🤩
We had a very unpleasant experience during our stay at this hotel. Our family was traveling with a 2-year-old child who unfortunately became ill during the trip. As a result, there was an incident where the baby vomited, and we used one of the hotel’s towels to clean it up. The hotel then charged us 250,000 VND (approximately $10) for cleaning that towel. This is something I have never encountered at any hotel before — not even at luxury 5-star properties — and I found it completely unreasonable. Firstly, the towel could certainly have been cleaned like any other towel. I know this from personal experience at home, where I’ve dealt with similar situations and managed to clean the towel immediately, even without using the kind of industrial detergents that hotels typically have. Secondly, no one wants such incidents to happen, and instead of showing understanding or offering support, the hotel simply imposed a charge — which, in my opinion, was equivalent to or even more than the price of a new towel. I was extremely dissatisfied with this experience and will never return to this hotel, nor will I recommend it to my friends or family.
