Grand Gongda Jianguo Hotel

Clean and spacious. Huge bathtoom with separate bathtub and shower.

Beautiful hotel with helpful friendly staff. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Some of the food was very good. I was looking forward to the Peking duck, but was disappointed because I am used to having it with crispy, well cooked skin and slightly 'rare' meat, and it had not been prepared like that. The skin was soggy and fatty and the meat did not taste of much. However, there were lots of other good dishes. Thank you.

I do not recommend this hotel, they steal. When I checked in, I forgot the original Apple wired charger for my iPhone 15pro in the room, I came back half an hour later and the charger was gone. The room had only been checked by them, not cleaned. They said they found nothing, and told me to check the luggage carefully, they did not admit that they had been stolen. I have seen several complaints on booking, that they steal from the rooms (we had room no. 710). Otherwise it is clean, but the breakfast is limited and without many options for Europeans. The reception staff is not friendly and does not know English at all, not even basic concepts. Wi-Fi is not working properly
