Grand Hotel Admiral Palace

A nice and acceptable hotel. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Our booking included one visit daily in the swimming spa. The available hours are 09:00-19:00. Children are only allowed from 09:00-11:00. There is lots of parking available at the hotel. The spa is OK. Water temperature is about 36°C. There is a quiet room, some sensual showers (some equipment broken) a steam room and small sauna. The swimming is indoors, a small shallow pool. Some minor equipment was not running, such as some bubbles and jets. The lifts in the hotel are slow, and the capacity rather small so at busy times many elderly people have to wait a long time. The breakfast buffet has staff working very hard to replenish the food. Coffee, fresh fruits and baked sweets are good quality.

I spent a week here in May 2025 with TD active. There were 38 in the group. We had a half board package, B&B and evening meal. The food presented each evening was poor and at times inedible bearing no resemblance to its description. Bottles of water ( hotel filled) were charged at €2.50 each to the room. Breakfast ( for our group) was tinned fruit, cold scrambled egg. I gave up asking for tea after the first day as there was only one teapot and a grumpy waiter. Coffee was good I would not recommend this hotel

Everything is run down and filthy. The rooms were dirty, and to make matters worse, there was black mold in both the showers and the hallways. It was disgusting and a major health concern. The breakfast was consistently cold and unappetizing every morning. To top it all off, our key cards kept deactivating, and despite multiple complaints, nothing was done to resolve the issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. On top of everything the hotel management named Giovanna had the audacity of emailing me and basically say i’m making all of this up and said none of this is their fault. Our group had over 10 rooms booked in this hotel and we all had the same issues. I have gone and read other reviews, there are several complaints about the mold from even years ago and the hotel seems to just lie about it, make up excuses and acuse the guest.
