Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus The Hague Scheveningen

Fantastic hotel, 5★ service from check in to check out. We loved our stay here, the room was spacious & clean, the staff were cheerful & always helpful. We were even checked in early by the lovely Yulia. Lovely breakfast with a view, unbeatable location right on the beach. Already looking forward to going back.

Great location, extra charges for drinks in minibar, rooms little outdated and dirty in bathroom (mould etc). Rooms had most things like iron/ironing board, hair dryer and there was a large bath to soak in. There was a wedding when we stayed so could hear the party when the elevator opened however didn't go too late and parts of the hotel was unavailable during this time like the back exit onto the beach front, however staff seemed friendly, spoke good English. Didn't eat at the restaurant as plenty of other food places around.

I always wanted to go to this hotel because how nice it looks from the outside. But what a disappointment it was. Verry expensive for the quality you get. I stayed in a regular room but the bed was small and they have the old tv. You can't even use your Netflix account to watch a movie. The spa was dirty, it looked like it is not getting cleaned regularly. I saw lots of hair everywhere! The swimming pool is very small and if there are families with kids then they take over the pool. Despite the 15% discount you get after you leave a review, I will not came back. There are better hotels which offers better quality for a better price. Also, 50 eur for parking per night. That is crazy, atleast give your quests some discount. I felt scammed.
