Grand Hotel Bachledka Strachan

We don’t have enough stars to give for this wonderful place in a wondrously magical part of Slovakia mountains. The cleanliness, polite and efficient service, pool, wellness, and AMAZINGLY tasty food made this unfortunately short (3 day) stay unforgettable. Thank you Strachan family, and lots of love to Berta the puppy!!

We just spent a few days at this beautiful hotel, and it truly has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful stay in the Slovak Tatras. The rooms are excellent—we stayed in the Olympic-themed room, which offered a breathtaking view of the Tatra Mountains. The wellness area is very stylish, featuring five different saunas and a swimming pool. The food was also outstanding, with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner. A special mention goes to the talented chef who made delicious omelets to order. One of the highlights for us was that the hotel is dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. But above all, what we appreciated most was the service. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. We especially want to thank Josef, who made us feel like the most important guests in the world

The building itself is very small and tight. Same for rooms - cramped and partially lacking equipment, such as electric kettles. However, the decor is very nice, everything is clean, and the service is both helpful and friendly. The SPA zone is small in relation to number of guests. The location of the hotel is quite good, since it is well commuted with most of local tourist routes.
