As soon as you enter the property, your are greeted and treated like royalty! The TEAM (not individual staff, but whole TEAM) was extremely helpful and considerate about and concerns or needs. We asked where to get the best drink in town (had a long travel day) and was quickly prompted to the bar at the hotel! THEY'RE NOT LYING!!! The drinks and food were incredible here!!! And again, THE STAFF, was so friendly and helpful!!! Breakfast was also incredible and full of so many different options!!! No matter what your preference, they either had it available, or would go out of their way to make something for you if you have special allergy needs. I CANNOT wait to go back and I can speak for my wife as well, we will not be staying anywhere else!!! Once you find the perfect spot, stick with it!!! To the TEAM at Beau Rivage, THANK YOU and we can't wait to see everyone again!!!
Great location and beautiful hotel. I had chance to stay for a business trip for 4 days. Please note it’s an older hotel so know that it won’t have some of the amenities that newer hotels have. However, I would absolutely stay at this hotel if I go back to Interlaken for personal trip. The hotel staff was great and the location was away from the busy part of Interlaken. There is a beautiful walking path next to the hotel along the river and five minute walk to the funicular at Harder Kulm.
The staff is helpful and kind, but the hotel is tired. The rate they’re asking is too high even for July and high season. The carpets are old and dirty. The half glass in the shower in the bathroom allows water to spray everywhere. The curtains are heavy and old and the bedding is too hot for the season. The historic nature of the hotel is lost when the amenities and the ambience is old and run down. There is no AC and it is stuffy and uncomfortable. While the hotel is located in a nice spot it lacks many other features. It is in need of physical upgrades to charge what they’re asking. We chose to check out days earlier than planned because of this.
