Great Hotel with lovely amenities

4-star hotel? No. 3S? Not even that. 3 is a lot. The only redeeming feature is the food, which still seems good quality and had a modicum of variety, as well as the professionalism of the restaurant staff. Breakfast, on the other hand, was nothing special. The bathrooms are clean, but only for a short time, as we were given only one towel for our entire body, none for our face or underwear, so we couldn't even use one as a bathmat. Only one "solid" soap, no liquid soap for the shower or bidet. And this soap was left for our entire stay (3 days). The rooms are clean, but the beds are really uncomfortable, with pillows that seem more like they were made for cribs than beds, given their thickness and hardness. Let's overlook the TV, which works inconsistently (the channels are a handful, and in random order), and doesn't even have an HDMI connection (I believe they were the first LCDs on the market). There is a refrigerator. It can be used to keep drinks cool, although it's not very refreshing. There's also an accessible rooftop terrace, complete with chairs and loungers, but for some unknown reason, we're denied access (even though there's no written notice and the door is wide open. Were we supposed to know this?). While the restaurant staff is courteous and professional, the same can't be said for the front desk. In short, it's not awful, but you'd expect much more from a 4-star hotel. Be honest.
