Grand Hotel Cravat

I stayed for 2 nights recently, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. The public areas could do with a bit of TLC and breakfast was simple but tasty.overall my room was good value for money.

Amazing concierge! We got bumbed to an executive room and the service was great, with a smile. The location is very central with a lively square right outside. I'm a sucker for a good buffet and, they delivered :)

“Quaint” is probably the best word to Describe this hotel. You kind of know what you’re getting when you get notified in a message that there is no air conditioning, there never was and there never will be - I didn’t even ask. The door key (not card) too big for a pocket. Creaking lifts, which were a bit disconcerting, but you got used to it. If you want “modern”, this is not the place for you. I’ve not had a shower standing in the bath tub with a shower curtain for a while. The blue bathroom suite was very reminiscent of the 70’s style, but it worked. The room was comfortable, but dated. It did have a lovely balcony. We didn’t try the bar - looked a bit strange. Breakfast was OK - orange squash rather than juice. Friendly staff, which is always a bonus! Great location!
