What a beautiful hotel – truly 5-star service from start to finish. From the stunning decor to the friendly and professional staff, everything exceeded expectations. The food was exceptional – every meal felt like fine dining. I was honestly surprised to read some of the negative reviews, as I've stayed in many 5-star hotels, and this is genuinely one of the best. I’ll definitely be returning next year with my whole family. If you appreciate elegance, quality service, and a touch of luxury, this hotel is perfect for you.

I have always found that a great staff can make up for other deficiencies in a hotel. This has never been more true than my recent stay at this property. We arrived very late on the night of our check in. Stephen was waiting for us, by name, with open arms and intent on providing the perfect welcome. In the morning, we experienced what may be the most elaborate and satisfying breakfast of our lives. From the personal omelette chef to a bakery level assortment of delicacies, it was perfect. We then met Elena, who not only seemed intent on charmingly meeting all of our needs, but also provided several tips to enjoy the surrounding area. The room was standard, but very clean. The hotel was pristine and we cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

This 5 star hotel has superficial appeal. However the service is terrible. We dro e from the UK stopping en route in some modest, reasonable and friendly hotels. We booked six nights at GHD. The room contained some complementary fruit. Great but obviously had been out for some time and the berries were sudden and inedible. The first night the air con did not work so it was impossible to sleep so at 2am l had to go to the reception. I was prepared to sleep in the foyer where there was at least some fresh air. Eventually went back to the room. Air con still not fixed 2 days later. Sink was broken. This was fixed. Shower had no hot water. Reported at 5pm, we had plans to go out. At 11pm not fixed, no message or explanation. Went back to reception and was offered a room move at 1130pm! Asked earlier to speak to manager about these things but he could not make himself available and neither the next number of days. This is not a cheap place but we have been treated appallingly and the service is without care or consideration. My money has been wasted here
