Beach area are limited due to a collapse of the bridge. you only have the opportunity to use the sunbeds that are connected to the natural pool in the innermost part, not out on the rock towards the sea. Also be aware that it costs extra to use the pool area, this is not included in the hotel price. The breakfast is very good with friendly staff. A bit weird that guests can reserve the best tables without even showing up… this was a bit frustrating. No reward for early birds.
So the hotel and the grounds are beautiful without a doubt lots of history and centuries old, however some of the hotel staff tend to have that very upity Italian attitude but I believe that's part of being Italian so whatever! The true asset to this hotel is the bartender Pietro he is without question the best part mille grazie Pietro!
I hope nobody would have the pleasure of meeting the lady owner, so aggressive and without politeness limits. She is fortunate, because the location is so exceptional, that not even her can ruin it too much.
