We have stayed 6 nights in the hotel while skiing in Valmalenco with my family and used it as our base. It was a good choice as the hotel was amazing and the slopes are only 20 min drive away, while in the evening we had all the options that Sondrio could offer with lots of restaurants, walks etc, especially as the hotel location is so central. Rooms were great, with very comfortable beds, large clean bathrooms. All the staff are very friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the cleaning lady to the waiters looking after us at breakfast. The breakfast needs to be mentioned separately as it was of high quality and great selection, we were looking forward to it every morning. Parking is available on the hotel's courtyard for Eur 15, however there is an underground covered car park literally next to the hotel for Eur 10 that we have used for each night. All in all a fantastic place to stay with amazing staff, we will be coming back again!

We loved our time at Grand Hotel Della Posta. We had 3 nights and added a 4th night. The location was amazing, the staff was efficient and courteous and the amenities were lovely. If we return to the area we will stay there again.

This is a beautiful, historic hotel that has been updated with modern finishes. The bathrooms are luxurious and the beds are very comfortable. The location couldn't be more central and perfect for a stay in Sondrio. The breakfast offerings are delicious and worth the addition to your reservation. The staff is wonderful, and will help you navigate the local area. We are American and felt taken care of by the staff, especially those in the restaurant.
